ACC Northridge Campus Garden Group

Mission: As a garden group we appreciate the value of urban agriculture. To promote environmental stewardship and campus community that benefits all that visit. To turn underutilized parcels into productive gardens that are personally maintained by campus residents which enriches the “community” on our Community College Campus.

There are two areas of gardens on Northridge campus:

  1. Raised and Container gardens consist of mostly native and drought tolerant flowers and plants.  Containers include 48 raised planter beds and various round planters across campus.

       2. Vegetable and Herb gardens consist of in-ground areas and planter boxes located                   between 1000 and 4000 buildings.
